Ordering

 

Is it possible to order from several galleries simultaneously?
Yes .. It is possible to order from several galleries / events simultaneously.

 

Which galleries are searchable?
If the gallery are searchable, it will automatically display a search box just below the menu bar on the right side. There will also be shown a one at the bottom left corner of the input image to the series.

 

What is the advantage of creating a login / customer profile?
When you create a login / customer profile on the side, you have the option to add images to your favorites. It is also possible to order direct from your favorites list, and to follow previous orders. Do you get interrupted in the middle of an order, you can always finish it at a later time. Once you have added pictures to your cart, your pictures will stay in your shopping cart until you either place the order or delete them yourself.

 

When you create a login.
You will receive an activation link to the email address you specify on the form. Be sure to specify the correct email address, otherwise you'll not be able to log in!

 

Does it cost anything to register for an account?
No.

 

Will my account details be kept private?
Yes, they will not be passed on to any other comapny.

 

How can I pay for the photos I order?
There are several possibilities. You have the option to pay by PayPal with all major credit cards or by bank transfer to Fanefjord Savings Bank account no. 0644 konto nr. 0001050744.

For bank transfers / payments from the rest of Europe and European Union countries:

Receiver pays all expenses related! Remember to specify the order number / invoice number on your payment!

 

Benefits to pay with PayPal
If you order web versions of the pictures taken at rallies / events from 2012 onwards and pay via PayPal, the pictures will be ready for download as soon as you click pay.

Is PayPal safe?

There are two ways to pay directly via PayPal:
First Directly using the credit card option. You do not need to create a PayPal account. You can enter your credit card information and complete your payment.
Second You can create a PayPal account and save your credit card information so your payment can be done with just a click when you next have to pay with PayPal.

 

Redeem Gift Certificate?
After adding images to your cart, you can click Shopping Cart in the upper right corner of the screen. Just below the menu bar appears. Click on the link and enter the gift certificate code. "Gift certificate codes are case sensitive"

About the pictures you can order:

 

Prints - Paper
All prints are made on professionalt photo lab.
Prints in sizes 10 x 15, 13 x 19, 20 x 30, 30 x 45, 40 x 60, and 50 x 75 are all printed on glossy Kodak paper and comes naturally without logo or copyright notice.

 

Prints - Canvas
Photo on canvas in sizes 20x30, 30x40 and 40x60 is made of canvas fabric / canvas, stretched on genuine wedge frames. Available without logo or copyright notice.

 

Digital images
As both Large - Burned on CD and Large - By download, it is delivered as a digital file of size 3888 x 2592 pixels, which have been processed in Adobe Lightroom for best reproduction. It is converted to large 16-bit TIF file and subsequently converted to JPG format in the best resolution.
For this JPG version I do a little web version at 900 x 600 pixels and put this version a little logo in the bottom right corner. This edition is intended for use on the Internet.
Therefore you will receive when ordering Large - burned on CD and Large - By downloading, both large and small version of the same image.

 

Web edition - pr. mail
When ordering Web edition - pr. mail you receive only the small version, described above, intended for use on the Internet.

 

Other editions
Do you want to get your picture in other editions than those described above, please feel free to send me an email.

Special requests about editing / trimming your prints ordered

Your order will only be dispatched once your payment is registered!

 

Delivery:

Photos sent for printing will be gathered together and shipped to the lab once or twice during the week.

Photos burned to CD shipped in bubble envelope.

 

About the pictures:

My camera saves two files for every image I take. A large raw file that I save and use only if the image is ordered and a "working file" in the small (2592 x 1728 pixels). Jpg format.
This file is my working file and the ones I rough sort / delete blurry, failed, bad pictures and shares into classes. A few bloopers, (bad torque, angle or otherwise) may accidentally still find their way into galleries.
I edit the pictures a bit, because I want that they present themselves well in the gallery, although usually a lighter color / light adjustment, before I put them up.
Images are reduced and compressed and my logo be over.
The images presented in the gallery in low resolution (638 x 425 pixels / from 50 kb. To 130 kb.) So they are quick to get over those who look through the galleries.

When ordering, I find the original. Raw file out, edit it for best playback, adjust lighting and color as well as any. Fix it up if the image is slightly tilted, and then convert it to the best jpg quality 3888 x 2592 pixels.

 

Image Quality:

To take good pictures, can be a great challenge. In the summer (the bright months)it is not a problem and the images are qualitatively very good.
But it is not always good weather for outdoor events I come and photograph to. It can rain be cloudy, hazy, and resulting in less light. If there’s lack of light, I have to screw up a bit for the ISO on my camera. Increasing the ISO on the camera, is instrumental in the way that the images can be a bit grainy, depending on how dark the weather is. Usually I can remove all "ISO noise" from images in the subsequent imaging, but sometimes I must go on a bit of a compromise (especially with pictures from indoor riding!) And can deliver images that contain a bit ISO noise, but it is only seen if one magnify the image up to 100% on the screen.

 

Recommendation for ordering prints:

 

If pictures are taken in indoor arena, I recommend not to order prints larger than 20 x 30 cm. then I might have used such a high iso, it may give some "grits" in the pictures in full size!
